It should be pointed out that leftists have gotten into colleges to feed their bias to students. This is another outgrowth of the anarchy of the late 1960s. It is important that each one of us do our own research to counter bias and outright falsehoods that do not build up but tear down. That do not teach but radicalize. Portions of the Left very much want other people to think like them and to act like them. It is not balanced or productive or Christian.

Interesting thought, ‘sending’ your children to college.
At 18, the statement should be ‘where will you encourage your children to go to college?’.

A student should go to a college that best benefits and serves their needs, both spiritual and worldly. If that’s a secular school, so be it, there are wonderful faith groups on most campuses today.
