Thank-you CAF family!

Your wisdom and prayers are so much appreciative.

Xantippe, that Mai Tai gown is hilarious!

Pensmama, it’s not that I wouldn’t be above having a nice, light cocktail (especially at nearly 41 weeks…this baby is cooked!).

It’s just that we literally have no alcohol in the house currently…strange, seeing that it’s summer and hubby enjoys his summer beer…but the budget is tight for August since hubby is taking the month off to help with the baby (he is between military orders currently).

However…never fear, FIL is here.
He promised to pick us both up our favorite alcoholic beverages…kind of like a shower gift.

Maybe I’ll give him a decent recipe for Mai Tais and have him get me the ingredients.

Anyway…we are definitely ready and have been given the green light to head in for 7 am.

So, hopefully we’ll have a baby within the next 24 hours!

You’ll all be the second to know (behind immediate friends and family) as long as the hospital WiFi is good!

Everyone subscribed:
Let each one of us stop right now and say a Hail Mary for Kelpha and the baby!

**Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen. **

Praying for you Kelfa! I hope you are holding your sweet little bundle right now!

I had that happen to me (delayed induction do to lack of rooms, they blamed it on the full moon) and it was so disappointing for me… I kinda had all my ducks in a row for the induction like you did, but things worked out in the end. I am so happy you had extra time to receive the Eucharist again (giving you extra strength for the induction!) and enjoy a fudge Sunday (darn it, now I want one).

Don’t let the idea of lots of little ones overwhelm you! Take it one day at a time 🙂
Things are always a little crazy with a newborn in the house, enjoy your little blessings and try not to worry about anything that is not essential! Ask Him to help you out with the little blessing He sent you :). He did pick you and your husband out for these three little ones, no other parents, so lean on Him and ask Him to help you and your husband with His will!

Hope your lil one got here safe and sound and that you had a great labor and delivery.

My neighbor, a smaller built woman, just had her 7th on July 3. She was 10 lbs, 6 ozs

#6 was happy to be getting another sister, but she really wanted to keep her title as the record in her family for the biggest baby at birth. She is 7. She was perturbed that the new baby was 6 oz bigger, but she got over that pretty fast, lol.

Hi all!

Thank you for the prayers!

Caroline Felicity was born at 9:46 pm, July 29th.

It was an easy delivery that was almost exactly the same as my middle baby.

Cervadil worked almost instantly, I had a smooth epidural and was ready to push about 8 hours later.
Literally 5 mins of pushing, I had her out in three pushes.

She’s an outstanding nurser so we’ve elected to do nursing for now since I’m comfortable doing that…maybe with a pump I can prolonged nursing a little longer.

She’s gorgeous!
