Inexpensive things you can do for your wife?

Thanks for all your help, I have read each and each was useful. I have some good ideas now. 🙂
 
Are you good with your hands and do you have wood tools? You could make her something in addition to the cleaning. This year for Christmas, I am making my mom, grandma, and GF jewelry boxes. They are costing me almost nothing. I got hardwood scraps out of the woodshop scrap bin at the HS where I did some teaching this semester (with permission from the woodshop teacher). I glued them together in a stack so they were laminated, and I cut out shapes with a bandsaw. You can google “bandsaw box” and see what I am talking about. They are all made now and came out great, all I have to do is put a finish on them. You can write a message on the bottom of it, maybe even fill it with her favorite candy. There are so many inexpensive things you can do for someone with a little bit of wood and some tools. If you have access to a welder, there are also all kinds of things that you can make out of metal. Just some thoughts.
 
Buy some sticky notes. Write sweet sayings on them, I love you, Your the best, you are beautiful, You make me complete etc etc and then stick them everywhere hide them in the drawers and cupboards, behind the bathroom medicine cabinet mirror, In the shower, in her car, in her jeans etc etc. Put them in places she will be discovering for weeks to come. The gift that keeps on giving. She will get a thrill from it and never forget how sweet you are.

Buy her a small tree, name the tree after something special your wife loves,and plant it together, watch it grow through the years, this is a wonderful gift.
