What about a few other passages. How about Revelation 20:11 15. Look for the words “faith alone” in this passage.
“And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books,
according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them;
and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. And death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
And again, in Matthew 16:26 27:
“For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels; **and will then recompense every man according to his deeds.” **
And what about Revelation 2:23:
“And I will kill her children with pestilence; and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts;** and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.”**
Specifically to Revelations 20:11-15 (and in general to your post) - You show a lack of understanding of the scripture you have used. There are two sets of books at this judgement. The names of all believers are in the book of life. The names of the “earth dwellers” are not in the book of life (see Rev 13:8, 17:8). They are judged according to their works, which are recorded in the other book. No one can ever be saved by works, because that would leave room for human boasting (see Eph 2:8-9). The eternal dwelling place of all unbelievers is the lake of fire. The eternal resting place for all those who accepted Christ as their Savior is heaven.
And what amazing information does St. Paul give us in Romans 2:5 11?
