Infant Jesus of Prague novena

i was wondering about the novena… somehow this idea got into my head that if the emergency infant jesus novena is said 9 times a day at the same hour and if you are able to do it, then your prayer is granted. If for some reason you are interrupted during this novena, it means that it will not be granted…
has anyone else had this experience… or felt this way?

It’s best to pray the Novena the way it states ie… every hour or 9 days. Of course, the intention and faith involved are tantamont and most pleasing to Our Lord.

This Novena is powerful. My friend recently had a miracle attributed to this prayer.

At the same time, the answer may not go the way we want but Gods way. It’s important to be persistent with prayers and not expect a fast reply.

can you tell me about the miracle?

i know this novena is exceptionally powerful as i have the most interruptions when i am praying this novena… however, nowadays when i am praying this novena for my marriage, i do not get interrupted…

thats the reason why i feel that when it is interrupted, it is God telling you that the prayer is not going to be granted.

but it was this very novena that was given to me by an old lady at the church the very next day that I asked God not to come to me in the form of prayers if this marriage was not to be restored… which has given me a strange sense of peace.

Here is the miracle:

My friends son was born with stenosis of the trachea (very narrow and he wasn’t able to breath). At the hospital they gave him a trache (an airway in his lower neck so he could breathe.)

My Catholic friend was devastated. The doctors told her he would need surgery to open the airway but it was very risky. She was advised to teach him sign language as he would never be able to speak.

Surgery was scheduled in Los Angelos. I had bought a statue of the Infant of Prague and felt this urge to tell my friend about the Novena.

She began praying the 9 hour prayer (every hour for 9 hours). She has a great deal of faith.

On the morning of the surgery the doctors were shocked because the opening to his trachea had widened on it’s own. The surgery was cancelled.

James is a happy normal boy. He loves sports and has never had problems with breathing again. A true miracle.

You sound like you have a lot of faith. Remember it is Gods Will but persistence and prayers to this little infant Jesus may be the help you need.
