Dear friends,
The premature grandchild of one of our prayer warriors is undergoing heart surgery this morning at 730.
Please pray for this precious little one, and the surgeons and health professionals who will be attending her.
May the Divine physician heal her and bless her worried family. They love you Lord, and seek to do Your will. Dearest Infant Jesus, look kindly upon this request, and heal her. May her life give You glory. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (infant having surgery). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into infant having surgery’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

May God guide the surgeon’s hands and bring a complete healing.

May He give peace to concerned loved ones.

:signofcross:

amen

May God, the greatest physician of all, guide the hands of the surgeon this morning. May all who care for this precious baby be moved with compassion not only for this tiny patient, but also for her family.

Prayers offered for a successful outcome and smooth recovery.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Be with those needing peace-
Console the lonely or brokenhearted-
Comfort the lost or hopeless-
Strengthen the fearful-
Guard the unborn-
Pray for those who are dying or who have died-
Soften those with hardened hearts-
Enlighten those who do not yet see truth-
Help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go-
Show us the way to do the right thing-
Protect those who are in danger, and
Guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

Thank all of you so much for your prayers and PClare for your help.

The surgery on my granddaughter, Norah Grace, went VERY well. Norah was a “single vein umbilical cord” baby and was born a couple of days before Christmas 2016. Her weight at birth was ounces short of 4 pounds which is common for these rare pregnancies.

A few hours after birth Norah was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans; approximately 65 miles from our home, and placed on a oxygen pump due to a collapsed lung. The day after her birth a medical team consisting of 3 heart surgeons detected a closed stem (?) in one of the heart arteries. The team wanted to wait until she was 5 pounds and more stable but decided yesterday that the surgery could not be delayed. Understand that Norah’s mother, my daughter, has not even held the infant due to the medical equipment supporting the life of this precious one.

My daughter held herself strong these past 14 days with the prayerful support so many friends and relatives.

YOUR prayers were received and answered by our Creator today. Answered as one of the attending surgeons delivered the fantastic news this afternoon. Successful open heart surgery on a 4 lb 3 oz infant was extremely high risk yet Norah Grace came through as a flawless, miraculous operation.

I can not express my gratitude for your prayers. I can only hope and pray that each of you fully realize that your prayers were heard as evidenced by today’s successful operation. Thank you again and may God richly bless each of you with His graces.

Lastly, please keep Norah in your prayers as her next open heart surgery is targeted for her 6 month birthdate. I plan to add major developments to this thread as needed.

I remain “In Christ”

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen.
