Castillo,
Instead of judging my motives, I would like to get your take on the issue.

Thanks

Sorry, but it seems that this may be someone trying just have a discussion about using devices that are of questionable morality.
I always wonder about someone that would join a religious forum and have their first post be about sex and vibrators. 🤷 But that’s just me.

OP, talk to your priest again. Explain the entire situation. Do it when you and he have enough time to fully discus it. I bet you will get a different answer.

During our premarital counselling, our very traditional priest addressed this topic quite well. He said that people often asked him about specific scenarios and whether they were permissible or not. His answer to all of them was “As long as the act finishes in the right place, then it’s okay”.

I recommend that you see a doctor who is affiliated with Dr. Thomas Hilgers and the Pope Paul VI Institute. They use a group of methods called “NaProTechnology” to help infertile couples. These methods are completely in line with Catholic moral teaching, unlike some mainstream fertility “treatments” such as IVF, and by my understanding they are effective in a substantial percentage of cases.

Here are some links for you, to the organizations and information that I mentioned above. At the third link, you can find a physician close to you (or hopefully you can; they do have physicians in many states):

popepaulvi.com/

naprotechnology.com/

fertilitycare.org/

Disclaimer: My post is not meant as medical advice. If you meet with a doctor who practices NaProTechnology, he or she can give you more information and can let you know whether this system can potentially help you and your wife.

OP - can we ask how you wife feels about this from the moral angle ?

She actually feels that the intent in the use of the device is for procreation, that since I have a hard time stimulating her myself, that it is a fine substitue. I just want to make sure what we do is in line with Church teaching, so I’m hesitant to use it. I must admit, it has created stress in our marriage, and in the whole process of becoming pregnant.

. One of the main issues we have is that it is very hard for her to climax during sex, which I’ve been told helps fertilization tremendously. I believe the Catholic Church tells us that we cannot use devices.

Any advice regarding what to do?
you have a device
it is your own body
nothing artificial can substitute nor works better
use it for her pleasure, make her pleasure your goal in love-making
take the energy you have been focusing on trying to conceive and bring it to the entire arena of love-making

make your entire day one of love and service to each other.

will you definitely conceive? if and when God wills but you will have a marriage built on the proper foundation.
