Walk for Life West Coast
in San Francisco.

8th Annual Walk for Life will be held on
January 21, 2012 at Civic Center Plaza

NOTE NEW LOCATION AND ROUTE!

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Walk for Life will be unable to follow its familiar route from Justin Herman Plaza and along San Francisco’s waterfront to Marina Green. Instead, we will be gathering at Civic Center Plaza at 11:00 am for the Info Fair to be followed by the rally at 12:30 pm. At 1:30 we will start walking down Market Street to Justin Herman Plaza.

We are excited about this new opportunity and believe that this new venue will give us the chance to grow our numbers. More information to come so please sign up for our email blasts to keep informed of these important changes.

HOTEL UPDATE: We have contracted for a special rate of $109/night (plus taxes) with the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel. Call the reservation number 800-525-0956 and request the “Walk for Life Room Block”.

There will be an Info Faire before the Rally at Civic Center Plaza. The Info Faire will be open from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. Please register to exhibit at the Info Faire. The cost is $50 per table.

Come join us as we pray the stations of the Incarnation. We will offer the Holy Hour in honor to the Unborn Child Jesus for the end of abortion. We will also pray for the pro-life cause.

The Unborn Jesus Holy Hour has been organized at Saints Peter and Paul since the first Walk for Life. Every year we place the Walk for Life into the Hands of the Unborn Child Jesus and his Mother with the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe. For more information send email.

Interfaith Committee for Life Prayer Service

The 25th Annual Interfaith Service for Life, sponsored by the San Francisco Archdiocesan Interfaith Committee for Life, takes place the evening before the Walk for Life West Coast at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, Geary & Gough Streets, San Franicsco. If you’ve never attended, please come this year to participate in prayerful readings, reflections, music and the beautiful Procession of Roses. A reception follows.

Those pro-life groups wishing to be included in the Procession of Roses for the Unborn should plan to arrive by 6:45 PM. This year’s theme will be Post-Abortion Healing and the Grace of God.
