His name is John and he’s been locked up now for about 7 years while his family is draining their financial resources in legal fees to get him out. (Kind of like the woman with the issue of blood and her doctors.)

He has asked if I would beg you guys for prayers that God would help them and that justice will finally be done for him.

Thanks brothers and sisters. I know I can count on you all.

***Lord God of Hosts, King of justice and compassion,
We cry out to you on behalf of this son of yours who has been unjustly imprisoned for so long.

Even as you rescued your servant Joseph from his unjust imprisonment by Pharaoh, we beg and beseech Your holy intervention for John.

O Blessed Lord Jesus Christ
Hear the cries of your children and in Your mercy answer us.

In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen***

How heartbreaking it can be that truth and justice do not always have a presence here on Earth! My prayers are with your friend.

I can’t imagine such a situation. 😦 Praying for God’s will to be done.

Some of us have tasted injustice first hand, also, so perhaps our prayers will be especially powerful as we implore the God of infinite mercy and compassion on your friend’s behalf.

Praying … and will continue!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death
Amen.

St. Jude, pray for him!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou oh Prince of the Heavenly Host by the power of God cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus,
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

O Lord, Be with John and his family as they fight for justice in this matter. Grant that the truth of the matter be brought to light so that justice can prevail. Give John and his family patience and fortitude and do not let them sink into despair over this tribulation. Grant these petitions, Lord, we ask humbly.

You are above all,
and we are so small.

You are magnificent,
and we are so insignificant.

But You raised us up through Christ Jesus, Your only Begotten Son,
and you comfort us with Your Holy Spirit, in unmerited grace and love…

Please Lord, let your Mercy work in this for John and all those who believe that he is innocent of the crime that sent him to prison. Too often the righteous are punished and the guilty are set free. This is not Your Way, O Heavenly Father

We ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen

Praying for justice. Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy. Amen.

Lord, have mercy
