As catholic, as traditional catholic or as traditionalist catholic, what are your thoughts and your analysis on the types of approaches concerning the conjugal act that are proposed by some catholic thinkers (monks, priests, nuns, medical doctors, philosophers, theologians, lay persons, singles, husbands, wifes) like for instance in this Polish catholic website:

szansaspotkania.net/index.php?page=6873

Is it too much sexual, is it wrong (not in link with the past), is it moderate???

Today there are many books, articles on those subtopics, what is your point of view? You can give your thinking on the fund, on the form…etc.

I’d say this site has bad and impractical information. If anything, it seems rather intimdating. If your sexual experiences are not like what the site describes, it makes you feel like something is wrong with you. I would not recommend this site to newlyweds who might benefit from knowing a bit about how sexual functions work differently in men and women. First it wouldn’t be good reading prior to marriage, and second I think it puts an insane amount of pressure on the wedding night which will simply NOT be like the experience described. I think for couples who’ve been engaging in sex for awhile, it probably gives them redundant information. Either that, or it makes you feel like something must be wrong with you. It ignores the reality of sexual difficulties.

The site reminds me a lot of the book “Holy Sex.” I wouldn’t be surprised if its based on that book. I actually found “Holy Sex” to be a good book though it did not really help my husband and I consumate our marriage when my friends’ recommended it after we had difficulties. Holy Sex did help me to identify how things going on in yourself or in the relationship effect your approach to sex.

Its been awhile sense I read Holy Sex, so I don’t know if I’d dislike it like I dislike this website or not.
