Hello.
I want you to please pray for me. My intellectual abilities are very poor. I find it difficult to read, and I have to, as I’m a university student. My inferring skills are also untrained.
If my intention aligns with God’s will, I would like to be more mentally able.
Thank you.

👍 You got it! Ask St. Joseph of Cupertino to help you… he’s the patron saint of students, test taking and mental difficulties, among other things. Check out his story sometime.
 
Praying for your intention. I think many people are smarter than they think. When you say things like ‘my intellectual abilities are very poor’ that to me is a sign you aren’t giving yourself enough credit. Very poor in comparison to what, a genius? Compared to a squirrel or an arrangutang you are outright genius. You don’t see too man of them in university do you? If you are a university student that means you did the hard work to get high enough grades to get into university in the first place. So give yourself some credit. To succeed in studies I find it is very helpful to be interested in the material at hand and be willing to do the homework, and, to do the reading. If you are interested in the program you are in you will be far more successful than if you are just going through the motions to get some degree in order to get some job in order to support yourself.

And if you have a genuine handicap of some kind you can still be successful in school if you are prepared to do the extra work required. Just look at Helen Keller.

Praying for you. You should get checked for a learning disability. A lot of very intelligent people have trouble processing information and reading. They can be very smart but still have intellectual difficulties.

If you get a proper diagnosis then you can work with a teacher who will help you learn different ways of learning. There is a lot of hope. Some people learn best hands-on, or by
listening, or watching etcetera. Not everyone learns best by reading.

Sure hope you and your family are all right.

Praying for your intentions and for Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future for it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord. . . . 😉 🙂
