I am making a short Pilgrimage with two of my step sons on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, to pray before the Ark of Mercy Iconic Monstrance at St Stanislaus Kostka Church in Chicago. While the emphaisis for our piligrimage is the discernement of their call to the Catholic faith, we are also willing to carry as many intentions with us as we can. If you have any intentions u wish to be carried before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, feel free to list them here.

God bless.

You have no idea. I announced my intention to make this trip, the two boys (18, 16) told me they wanted to come along. I emphasized that this was a religious pilgrimage, that I was going to drive three hours to a church, spend a coupla hours in prayer, get a bite to eat and drive back home. They were like “Yeah, we know. We still wanna come along.”

Our Lady must be interceding for my prayers for them. Two, not yet Catholic (wannabe, mebbe, might), teenaged boys wanna spend six hours in a car with their step dad to spend time in prayer before Our Eucharistic Lord. I was floored.

Glory to God in the Highest!!!

Dear Johenz, remembering you first humble post full of goodwill and prayer, I am so thankful for the blessings God is pouring on your family. May God continue to flood the blessings of love and wholehearted conversion into the members of your family.
God, rejoice in this man and his family, as Your.beloved. Please grant them many, many favours.

Johenz, thank you for your offer to take our intentions. We would be grateful.

Thank you and God bless you for your witness of faith and God’s Spirit. Trishie

Thank you for your kind offer of prayer. I think that this is an awesome idea, since our conversions have less to do with us than we think. By that, I mean that if we focus on personal conversion, it probably wont happen, but if we look at others, we are converted by the miracles we witness through prayer and mutual love. I am sure that your journey will suceed because you are walking on the road that leads to 'God.
Oh, and while you are on your pilgrimage, I would gratefully ask that you pray for the conversion of my best friend, Kevin, who is in prison for the last 11 years, and who was raised to be a criminal. He is a good man who needs Gods strength to overcome his addictions to his past lifestyle and who needs Gods intervention to cure his spiritual blindness.
From here, I will pray for you and the boys to see God’s smiling face as you bring Him all these concerns of ours. Peace.

Thanks for your prayers for us as well iserve and pyropam. I’ll be taking your intnetions with me as well.

My intention is for you to pray for the safety of our military and first responders. These brave people need our prayers and thanks.

Thank you!

244rocket…we have your prayer request covered. Thanks and God bless!

Just a bump before I head to bed. I’ll check again before we head out in the morning.

Johenz-

Thank goodness you will do so ,I have another request. I heard from my son today. He is a soldier in Iraq who does a very dangerous job, and he informed me today that he would not be able to communicate again until July! He is going out on a mission to a place without comunication, and I could feel the unspoken concern in his message to me. I promised that I would keep him and his unit in my prayers until we could speak (email) again. I said that until then, we would go through God for loveand comfort.
please ask the Lord to keep them and the Iraqi people safe in body and spirit.
Thank you, tonight I pray for all pilgrims in their respective journeys.

Success in my (difficult but, please God very nearly complete) university studies, all the needs of my fellow students and the academic staff, for safe travel for my family, for all the needs of CAF and its members.

Have a blessed pilgrimage!

Your intentions are travelling with us Lily. Good luck to you and your felow students with your studies. God bless you all down under!

The boys and I carried your intentions with us on our trip. We had a wonderful time as well. Seeing these young men deep in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament was an answer to my own prayers.

I ask continued prayers for them as they discern a calling to the Catholic faith.

God bless you all.

BTW, if you’re in, or plan to be in Chicago in the near future, I highly recommend a trip to St Stanislaus Kostksa.

Praying that all good people will be brought together in faith and communion with Jesus Christ, including these young men who ventured out to seek truth with you. Peace
