i was wondering when you have a mass said for one person or intention…then obviously the mass is applied to that

but what happens when a mass is said for a few people/intentions…do these people/intentions receive the full benefit of the mass as if it had only been said for them or does all the graces in the mass get divided up and do they receive a share in them…

also (bear with me i’m not finished yet:whistle: ) when i prayer if i offer up the prayers for one person or intention…then like the mass we trust that god will apply it to that…:clapping:

but what happens when i say prayers and i want to offar them for a few people/intentions…do these people/intentions receive the benefits of my prayers as if they had only been said for them…or does god divide them up and give them each a share or the prayers…

i like to pray for the holy souls in purgatory…and for the dying…and there is lots of other things that i like to pray for too…so i was wondering if i do offer my prayers for a few intentions rather than just one intention…are they of much benefit…

looking forward to hearing your views on the whole thing:extrahappy:

Aaawwww…just thought I would post since no one else has…

Well, I think I know what you mean…

Like, If I have a bunch of intentions, should I just say my Rosary for one of them, or the list of them, will they all get equal attention, or will they get more attention if I just say my Rosary for one of them…blah, blah, blah (same with Mass)

Okay, so I think…

It doesn’t matter.

God is awesome…I don’t think he can divide, he can only multiply.

👍

Your desire to pray for many is generous, but God will not be outdone in generosity, the more you pray, the more you ask Jesus is most pleased with and will do even greater for those you pray for. Say your Rosary for many and God will always be generous to a generous heart. Say a single prayer for many, say a generous prayer with your life.

It is always good to be wrecklessly generous in prayer. Look at the Cross and you see love and mercy, but you also see the greatest generosity in all history.

the grace of one Mass is infinite, and each person prayed for receives all the graces, and the entire Church receives those graces as well, God’s favor is not divided and doled out, it is poured out freely on all. we all share in these graces to the extent that we are receptive to them. The rain drops on everyone, but those with umbrellas don’t get wet. Those who have separated themselves willingly from God must respond to his gentle promtings in order to return to enjoyment of his grace.
