34Jesus replied, "The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,
when asked a mormon friend this is what they said…
“the children of this world” are the sadducees, as they are so focused on the worldly pleasures, so Jesus is relating marriages to their marriage. he says that if you marry only for worldly pleasures, you are only able to attain a place of equal pleasure in “that world” which we would identify as the kingdoms of Heaven. So if the sadducees, the children of this world, which Jesus’ statement is directed to, are married without the sealing power, then they won’t enter into celestial glory and their marriage won’t continue because they weren’t sealed."
someone explain to me why or why not marriage will or won’t be continued in heaven
