Hello all, have been reading By His Own Hand on Papyrus, online at Mormons in Transition. site puts the BpA into context. Free copies to LDS members with all the photographs, online version doesn’t have these.
I didn’t know that the entire Journal of Discources is online at
contendm.lib.byu.ed/cdm/search/JournalOfDiscources3
Also interesting article The Apostasy of the LDS church/ LDS Anarchy, interesting take on todays LDS church.

Happy Easter to all

I’ve been a member of MIT since first questioning the Mormon church. I am so thankful for all their work!

An Insider’s View of Mormon Origins by Grant Palmer is great, too.

Also read recently, Avenging Angel, by Charles Larson. It is a novel, a fiction based on the Mountain Meadows massacre. What I found particularly interesting was the description of the law in Utah regarding polygamy today. Also the possibility of polygamy being decriminalised if gay marriage wins through. Although fiction, it was an interesting read, especially the harrowing details of this event. The central story though is quite gruesome.

Kay Burningham’s book, I think it is The Great American Fraud, if I’m wrong I will edit. This lady is a lawyer and was a cradle Mormon, she looks at Mormon claims from a lawyers perspective, as well as recording her own story. Interesting, with lots of references, available on Kindle

The guys that work for MIT are so wonderful. I met a bunch of them when we went to Sandra Tanner’s shop for the viewing of one of their movies. Such awesome men of God!
