To this I add admonishing gloves and shoes and with that in mind let me explain my salutation.

You pose as a Catholic. That may be true. Your postings are contrary to the teachings of the OHCAC, the Catechism of The Catholic Church and a poorly formed conscience. We are to form our conscience in the Church teachings. I am called to admonish one as yourself, if in fact you are Catholic, to not conform yourself to the world but renew your mind in the Spirit of the Teachings of the Church and correct your error. Until then you are and will be addressed as “Poorly Formed”.

If you are not Catholic and you designate yourself as Catholic then you are dishonest and deceitful and mock the Church I believe in. If you are not Catholic and designate yourself as Catholic then your message is based on dishonest deceitful mocking. It designates the mind from which all the thoughts you put forth emanate. All your thoughts that you have put forth should be looked at with anguish as you stoop to dishonesty, deceit and mockery to make a point. The message you present is painted with a dysfunctional pallate. I admonish you for that.

You have the markings of an adolescent mind while you may be adult, your thinking is adolescent and I admonish you to mature.

Until such time as you clarify your position…

I would suggest that the proper course is to not argue with you and to continually admonish you as a designated Catholic with a poorly formed conscience. If you choose to undesignate yourself as Catholic then I can address you as dishonest, deceitful and mocking.

Until then all you profess is contrary to the teachings of the OHCAC and you are to be admonished for professing otherwise. I pray for your change and see no point in arguing with a poorly formed adolescent conscience.

Well, for one, sexual orientation is affected by many factors - biological AND environmental (I admit, however, that I’m no expert in this area). As far as I know, race is limited by the person’s biological characteristics.

What exactly do you mean by that? Instead of passive aggressively preaching to PRmerger about how she’s “reducing people to nothing more than a sex act”, come out and say what you really believe: we’re all bigots for thinking that homosexual sex is sinful.

I’m not sure we’re you’re getting this from anyway…this thread is about whether or not homosexual actions are sinful, so naturally we’re talking specifically about their sexual activities. That’s the whole purpose of the thread.

That’s like saying that if I start a thread about murder and it’s full of people saying “murder is evil, don’t murder” it’s the equivalent of us reducing people to “only a physical action”. Saying that we’re “reducing people to nothing more than a sex act” is frankly pretty ridiculous.

To people who are against homosexual marriage and homosexual sex: Talking about whether or not choice is a factor in homosexual orientation is a rabbit hole that we have no need of going down. It distracts from the real point-that homosexual marriage is impossible and that homosexual sex is wrong, regardless of whether or not being a homosexual is chosen or not.

One day science may find a “gay gene”-who knows? It won’t make a jot of difference to the Catholic position. Arguing about the cause of homosexual orientation is pointless.
