Hey everybody,
My priest has recently started this annual event where Christians, Muslims,Jews etc, people of faith and good will gather together and pray for peace. I was amazed when I attended this event how much I could learn from peoples of different faiths and was kind of embarrassed of how sometimes us catholics could be too pious and think we’re “all that” just because we’re catholic…( especially me for one
)
anyways I just wanted to know, has any other parish done this? And what do you think about reaching out and dialoguing with peoples of other faiths ( addressing this to anyone, no religion in particular). And a question for us catholics do you think that even though certain religions don’t believe in Christ they can maybe encounter Christ in different ways?
I’d appreciate all your thoughts
Thanks
God Bless,
Podo
