I am asking this question in terms of apologetics and biblical information.
Origen taught that the same word is used for interior and exterior man.
Our interior man has a heart.
Our exterior man has a heart.
The same is true of mouth, ears, hands and so forth.
Is this true for Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, and other denominations?
If it is true, how does this effect Biblical interpretations?
Thanks!
