Int. Prayerday OL of All Nations, May 7th 2005

Today was such an amazing day. We arrived around 11 am
at the place of the convention. I saw thousands of people there.
We had a seat all the way in the back when mass started.
Over 80 flags were brought in, at least 50 priests, maybe 20 bishops and all from all over the world. It was so beautiful. And after mass we all got a candle and they were lit for the solemn consecretation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary before the original painting of OL of All Nations.

After mass there was a break so we could have lunch and after that, there were contributions from :
A protestant minister who had deep love for Mary
Greek Orthodox Contribution,
Syrian Orthodox contribution (about Muslims that had been healed through Mary)
Jewish contribution
Muslim contibution
Buddhist contribution

So this was a true prayingday for all religions who all were there and praised Mary. Now if that isn´t a beginning of world peace, what is then?

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father,
send now your Spirit over the earth.
Let the Holy Spirit live, om the hearts of all nations,
That they may be preserved from degeneration,
disaster and war.
May the Lady Of All Nations, who once was Mary,
be our Advocate.
Amen

Emmy,

I just discovered your thread. I just want you to know that the prayer of OL of All Nations is said at the parish each day where I attend daily Mass. After Mass, some 20-25 people stay, most are members of the Legion of Mary, to pray the Rosary and the Divine Mercy chaplet, and then we conclude it with the OL of All Nations prayer.

Hopefully more people will discover this prayer. The prayer is short and the words address what is so much needed right now in the world.

Peace,

Theodora
