The Holy Father has just announced from Rome that the next International Eucharistic Congress will be held in 2012 in Dublin Ireland!!!

I am on fire inside right now with delight! :extrahappy:

Lst time it was held here was in 1932 and I can rememebr the stories my gran used to tell me about it. I also remember her beautiful large pic of Pius XI hanging in the family room with Eucharistic Congress 1932 stamped in gold on it.

I am ecstatic right now as there is nothing more our dear country needs than revival of belief in the Eucharist.

This is a tremendous blessing for Ireland. Rejoice and be gald for her as she needs it

That sounds wonderful. I’d love to visit Ireland and go to the Eucharistic Congress in 2012! My husband is Irish and he has always wanted to visit Ireland. My mother was Irish. So now we have a double reason to visit Ireland. God willing we will be able to go. Thanks for the good news.
 
Awesome. Another reason for my wife and I to venture over to the Emerald Isle.
