Internet cybering, mortal sin?

is internet cybering a mortal sin? I have stopped but can i pray to god for forgivness and take the eucharist?
 
You must go to a priest and receive the sacrament of reconciliation.
 
If you have committed a mortal sin, you must receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) before you receive Holy Communion again.

What is internet cybering? (I may regret asking this.)

Yah, I go with that being a mortal sin. Fortunately for you, it’s Saturday, and Confession should be readily available.

Actually, we could get into the whole discussion of whether you had full knowledge because you had to ask, but, you know, just go, confess it, resolve to stop doing it and get the graces from the Sacrament. That’s way better than haggling about it.

You need to go to confession before receiving communion.

Today is Saturday. Many parishes have confession available on Saturday afternoons. If you have a copy of your parish bulletin, you can check to see what is available. If you go today, you can recieve holy communion tomorrow. 🙂

Masstimes.org is a good place to go to look up times for mass, confession, adoration, etc. at local parishes.
 
thanks people. gonna have to think of a weird way to confess this sin. haha. im gonna go at 4:00, its weird but its the first time i have actually felt amazingly happy going to confession.🙂
 
I wouldn’t be so quick to classify things as mortal or venial, only God really knows that since you have to fully know whether it’s wrong or not, and since you are here asking us if it’s a mortal sin, it’s showing uncertainty.

So don’t worry about it being mortal and etc, however you SHOULD confess it, since it’s sexually related and it’s a rather grave sin, but I wouldn’t be walking around labelling things as mortal sins.
