Does anyone know of some effective and free internet filters that are available for download?
 
Hi,

Do you mean to block unwanted material from the web, such as adult content?

If so, I use naomifilter.org/ it is simple to use and free; it blocks any website that contains any adult orientated material, whether it is in word or picture.

I use Windows XP, so do not know how it is with Vista.

Yes, I want to block adult content, but I also want the kind of filter that you can add unwanted websites to and it will block them out as well.

Thanks, but I’ve tried Naomi already; and while it does a good job blocking out the bad stuff, it also blocks out a ton of good stuff too so it can get pretty annoying.

And I use XP too.👍
