The themes of the movie Interstellar are the mysteries of gravity and love. Through an act of sacrificial love, the inner workings of a Black Hole are found to shed light on the understanding of gravity whose discovery is only made possible by a father’s love transcending time to make contact with his daughter.
All things have a very small attractive field of gravity. It becomes manifest once a certain large mass is achieved. Is it not unlike our mere kinship, the Storge love spoken of by C.S. Lewis?
I pray this morning’s thanks for God’s Love in gravity that binds the universe and in our hearts and souls, the Agape Love that binds each to another and to Him.
