One has to give credit to the Monsignore for a remarkably well spoken interview. 👍

i just wonder how is the Traditional Mass is going to make a total come back when i see the New Missal not much different from the NO Missal.

the new Missal sent to the US bishops for aproval. and it does not even make reference to the mundane music that invaded the Church.
What the USCCB and the conferences of other English speaking countries approved was simply a better translation of the text of the Missal. No changes were made to the Missal itself.

There was a recent document on music where that was addressed.

that is my point. if the Mass is to return to once it was, why is that the New Missal is just a better translation instead?

Once again, it is NOT a new Missal. The Missal is the same. The translation has nothing to do with changing the Missal. And for that matter, even if there was a substantial revision to the Missal (which this isn’t!) that would not affect the music. Music is not controlled by the Missal or the GIRM. You can have good music with this Missal and you can have bad music with the EF Missal. The two operate independantly.
