I have been away from this site for a month and am just doing some catching up when I came across this topic.
At my parish we were very fortunate to receive by intinction at every weekday Mass that Msgr. officiated at. He passed away on Ash Wednesday 2011 and this practice went with him. Our new Pastor does not give by intinction.
Some of us were talking about this recently and how much we miss this way of recieving Holy Communion. We can only go back in our memories and be thankful for the years we had Msgr. with us along with the way he did things in our parish.
