Dear Brothers and Sisters,
intothebreach.net/into-the-breach/
This is one of the best letters by a Bishop in the USA, that I have ever read. It is not only for men, although written primarily for Catholic men (including his brother priests, seminarians, religious, and laymen of the Catholic Church). Women need to read this in order to understand better how the Lord has created men and women with differences NOT for conflict but for reciprocal complimentarity. Men and women need each other by God’s design.
I’m sending the link to family, friends and parishioners in my own diocese. I’m considering whether or not to send it to my Bishop. It would be the second time I sent him a letter from another Bishop. I don’t think he really appreciated the first one and this might also fall on “deaf ears”. I’ll pray before I send it to him. If I don’t send it, I’ll simply keep praying that he may receive it from someone else or read it himself, “by God’s design”.
