Invalidating a confession

Even if one is not obligated to confess venial sins, can you invalidate a confession if you confess a venial sin and deliberately omit some details about the venial sin? I know that you can invalidate a confession if you lie about, withhold some details, or omit a mortal sin, which in the end becomes a sacrilege, but does this rule apply to venial sins as well?
 
We are to confess our sins in number and kind. We are not commanded to give unnecessary details. The confessor can ask questions if he needs more information.

The number and kind only applies to mortal sins.

For venial sins, we can confess them in a general manner or not even mention them at all.

You do not have to confess venial sins in confession if you do not choose to do so. You can confess some venial sins and omit others if you wish, but in my opinion, why omit any of these sins? I am not suggesting this to you personally, but in general.

For myself, I confess everything in the confessional and focus on the venial sin(s) that I am having trouble with and keep repeating so they do not take root and lead into mortal sin.
