Invisible disability talk with resource list finished

I wanted to thank everyone for the support they gave me through this process. My talk is two weeks from tomorrow, and I have my notes ready (no Power Point, just a white board), ample time for questions and answers and a resource list of about 15 references both Catholic and secular.

If you can say a couple prayers that I don’t cry on 10/3, I would certainly appreciate it.

Thank you. I learned a lot about the uninformed state that some schools and their programs are in for kids who even need slight accommodations. Even such minor adjustment–always centered around compassion and not judging/scolding–could work wonders.

I have to admit I was bummed most of this week. The only thing that kept me going was my son’s three week progress report from cyber school–all A’s and many teacher compliments. There were none on his fifth or sixth grade report card. 😦

So, thank you again from the bottom of my heart! It does mean so much to me!
