Invited to office Bible study--please pray for me

…that I listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance to lead me to speak up for our faith, if the moment presents itself. I’m glad to be sharing my faith at work–I work for a very liberal employer, so it’s nice to see that other fellow Christians, even if they are not Catholic–are willing to share their faith with others. Please pray for me–this is to take place next week sometime. Thank you!🙂

I will pray that the Holy Spirit will prompt you at the right time and give the right words to say as necessary in order to speak about our Catholic faith. Trust in God. He won’t let you down. I will be praying you. You are brave, dear one! Many people would not do such a thing in mixed company. Good work! Much love,

Thank you very much–this means a lot to me. It’s funny, because the man who runs the Bible studies is a manager here, and is Baptist. And he and I talk about the Catholic faith a lot, and he has been very respectful of my views…so we shall see! I am glad that they have invited me (in the past I was not included) But I attended something with this group (a video showing and prayer session) before the holidays, and I think it was eye opening for many to see how devout a Catholic is with her faith. (I was very moved during the prayer session and cried–we all cried together–it was an interesting experience at work!)

I appreciate your prayers…may I get our Jesus’ way for Him to take over my mind and mouth that day!🙂
 
My experience is that, most non-Catholic christians, when face to face with a Catholic, will be respectful, and embrace what we have in common.

O Lord, I pray that You give her the wisdom to know when to agree, and when to respectfully disagree. Touch the hearts of the other members of this group, and open their minds to the truth of Your Holy Church. In Jesus name we pray.
