iphone App

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post this and see if anyone would be interested. I recently purchased an iphone app entitled “iMass”. It has the Missal containing all the propers and readings for the day, as well as a video of the Extraordinary Form Mass that day. (And the High Mass from Sunday is on there as well.) It would be a great way for people who are new to the EF familiarize themselves with the Mass.

Dang, there really is an app for anything!

Now, if I can just convince my husband to buy a new iphone and give me his hand-me-down, then I can load all this stuff up!

There are a lot of Catholic apps, I think I have about 12 of them. My favorite is the iPieta. It has 3 times more stuff than the little Pieta booklet, including the whole bible, the daily readings, prayers, Novenas and more!!!

Is this available on the Android platform as well? I can’t seem to find it in the Android Market. I’ll google to see if I can find the iPieta website.

I’m not entirely sure. I believe that I heard somewhere that it’s not available yet, but might be soon. But I really can’t say for sure.

In addition to having the readings for both NO and TLM masses, and a fantastic set of basic prayers, the iPieta iPhone app also has dozens of classic books in their entirety, like The Imitation Of Christ, Baltimore Catechism #1, #2 and #3, Intro to Devout Life, Rule of St. Benedict, Dolorous Passion of Jesus Christ, Summa Theologica, and the list goes on and on.

It is the best money I ever spent on an app, without a doubt.
