Iranian courts in Tehran and its sister city of Karaj sentenced 10 Bahai men and women to prison for following the banned religion.

The Human Rights News Agency reported yesterday that an appeal’s court in Tehran confirmed the six-year prison term for a Baha’i man.

Sahba Farnoush was initially sentenced to 16 years of prison in December 2019 by the 36th Branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. The sentence was later reduced to 6 years said his lawyer, Mohammad Hadi Efanian.
That’s pretty amazing. We had some Bahais in our town and I got to know them some. It’s an interesting faith and I use to see threads here on the forums ever so often but not recently. I guess, it’s a pretty pacifist faith.

This is pretty bad, prison sentences. If one reads up on it, there’s a fair number of this kind of persecution of other faiths.

Not to worry - Iran will come around after Biden is elected and sends more cash … un-does the Israel/UAE Abraham accord … then they wont do this type of thing again … trust Biden/Harris  . or not
