Ironic since its the Irish Bishops who ignored Canon Law and Rome who are the problem. I agree with Rev. Dr. Vincent Towmey, every Bishop ordained before 2003 should resign, get rid of the dead wood!

But even when bishops try to resign, they can’t. From an outsider’s perspective, this all looks pretty messy.

This is just turning into a bigger mess day-by-day.

I just wish I could close my eyes and all these problems would be solved…

Sometimes, I feel that the Vatican is culpable for the actions of some of the Irish bishops…and I don’t like that feeling one bit.

The Church and the Vatican needs some good news, sometime. It’s reputation has gone down – more than, dare I say, during the Reformation!
 
If the Republic is almost bankrupt, maybe E Kenny and Co are considering making an attempt to unite with Ulster; with Belfast as the Capital. 😊 A speech like that would warm the hearts of Paisley and his sidekicks. 😃

Nero distracted the citizens of Rome, by arranging entertainment…
