Irritability in regards to my dad

There have been repeated instances where my dad will say or do something very minor, and I’ll get this great temptation to get unjustly irritated at him.

Can you please pray for me in regards to this?
 
I understand because I feel that way about my dad as well. Prayers.

I know this is a prayer intention so perhaps you’re not looking to get comments on this situation, but I’m going to take the liberty of saying something anyway: You assume that you’re at fault., but this isn’t necessarily the case. Minor comments and actions can be expressions of a someone’s more general outlook or attitude. If that outlook or attitude is objectively wrong, or insincere, or spiritually unhealthy, these “minor” comments and actions may well remind you subconsciously of a larger problem, and irritate you thus. I can’t say for sure whether this is the case in your situation because you provided very little info in your post. But the fact that you seem a little puzzled at your own feelings suggests to me that something like this could be at work.

I’ll pray that God will grant you insight into the true forces at work in the situation between you and your dad.

Thank you for the prayers,

I am aware these possibilities, they might be partially true, there are a few issues I have with my dad in regards to some of his beliefs and they way he acts on a moral level. However I do see other issues in regards to myself and my current situation that could also influence this as well, it’s probably a combination of all of these.
