Everyone’s taste varies. Listen to that music when you are able. Sitting outside, in the car during your drives or other alone time. Your wife can listen to what she likes when she is able.
This would be like you giving up pie for life because she prefers cake. Maybe have a piece of cake with her, but treat yourself to pie when you go out.
