Imagine that money may become obsolete. “Spiritual” rewards are much more rewarding than material things.

“Spiritual” rewards are already being used. It’s a reality!

The problem is spiritual rewards do not buy groceries, but this can be overcome with the use of banking cards that keeps an eye on abuses.

In a sense, people could decide for themselves whether they want to work for material things (money) or for the reception of spiritual rewards.

I’m afraid I can’t really imagine what you mean or how that would work. Can you elaborate?

We live in a material world where our economy is based on money and other commodities. What I’m asking is the difficulty in rewarding with spiritual experiences. True spiritual experiences come from God and are VERY rewarding. Our economy, then, can come from the spiritual experiences of God or that which is based on science. For example, we can now easily stimulate parts of the brain known as pleasure centers, which is closer to truer spiritual experiences.

Spiritual experiences are real, and I contend that they can be tapped so as to fuel the economy.

It sounds like you are suggesting that we can buy salvation through works?

Who decides how many spiritual gold stars we get for our effort.

No, I do not mean to suggest that we can buy our salvation through good works alone.

Who gets to decide on the distribution of spiritual rewards in today’s world? I believe it’s God, but it could be a higher creature somewhere else.
