Hello, I’m a 28 year old hailing from a tall generation of orthodox Brahmans (Religion in Hinduism).
I’m in love with a Catholic girl who is in love with me as well. When we had discussion on our marriage, she said I can only marry a Catholic.
I in body, mind and soul have accepted Christ, but I cannot convert (baptize, confess and receive the holy communion) simply because I love my parents and have to Honor the faith that they have been brought-up with and a faith which is in our family for 10’s of generations.
If I do convert without my Parents’ consent, that would be a incredibly selfish act.
At the same time, acceptance of the Lord in Heart, mind and should isn’t sufficient to be accepted in His Kingdom? I shouldn’t be penalized just because I’m not a born Catholic
