I’m not a hostile shrew when I forget to take vitamins, but I’m just an awful lot nicer when I do. Does anyone else notice this in themselves? I know there are a lot of intervening variables here, but I’m curious.

I’m especially curious if any men notice the same effect. Anyone I’ve ever heard express an improved mood from vitamins was a female…selling vitamins. (I didn’t buy any of those for the record)

Taking vitamins does not improve my memory to take daily vitamins.

P.S. this isn’t asking for medical advice just a curiosity surrounding experience.

Regular exercise does that for me…

Maybe it’s just that you’re taking care of your health, and that spills out into other areas in your life?

This is fascinating and I need to pay attention more closely to find out if my daily vitamins make me nicer! Hmmmm…I HAVE noticed that they make me more HUNGRY! I’m not certain how this happens…perhaps my metabolism quickens a bit?

No, I don’t notice any difference whether or not I take vitamins. Then again, I am a hostile shrew 😬

I don’t take vitamins just a natural supplement that does contain many vitamins and some are linked to the nervous system (B12) - I take Spirulina (it’s an algae).
Yes I can say that since my power of concentration is a bit better I can control myself better and be nicer.

I don’t know if I’m any nicer, but I feel better about myself for taking vitamins. It could just be the placebo effect, or they might really be good for my health. My mom started us taking them when we were kids. She’s 92 now, and still takes her vitamins every day (and she’s nice too 🙂).

I do and contribute it most to the B vitamins. Then at one time I had a good source of bee pollen and ate this everyday. the best.

Responses to this vitamin thread remind me to take some. Thanks!

Since I don’t like Starbucks, that may be a problem. I’ve got a good substitute though.

adding to my previous reply.

Vitamin D3 I take 5000 IU daily and it helps with sad moods. A lot of literature online about it. I guess this could help with being nicer 🙂
