Is anyone here involved with STOPP? I am interested in becoming involved in my area and just want to see how it is. thank you.

YES! And I think their mission is inspiring. How incredible to literally stop Planned Parenthood.

Hi, Hallelujahhh. I would also love to hear people’s opinions on the American Life League & STOPP. I know just a little about them, though, & have donated to them a few times. Judie Brown is like the president of the organization, & she works tirelesly & does an amazing job in her pro-life work. I forget the man’s name who founded STOPP, but Planned Parenthood definitely knows it. He has done an amazing job bringing to light the tactics & agendas of PP.

But, once in a while I am not sure if they go too far. I admire that they are 100% consistent in the fight for life, & I know people have to see the absolute horror of abortion before they stop it. But, not all people have to see it. I’ve seen some adds where fetal body parts are posed with coins. I worry it desecrates the already abused babies, & might not help their cause. I recently read a letter in their newsletter that was from a grandfather to his aborted grandchild. I’m sure it was therapeutic for him to write, but I’m not sure it should have been published in a national newsletter. It wasn’t very kind to the daughter who aborted the child.

Sorry to be so verbose. Overall, I think they do wonderful work. Does anyone else have opinions?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention as I was unfamiliar with the organization.

Peace

Thank you for responding. I can see where you’re coming from with the above comment, but find it a bit twisted (not you, just the idea, really) that, yes, sure, please go ahead and act within the law and abort your child, but, no, no, do not publish an actual picture of it. It’s like, it’s legal, so why the “shame” in showing how it happens? If we are ashamed, isn’t this a sign something is wrong? Then more uproar about the poor mothers because they are “hurt” (which they are, and I do feel for them), but no hoopla whatsoever about the child itself who is not only hurt, but undergoes literal torture to extinguish its life. It’s just weird that taking PICTURES of the act and showing them is “wrong,” but doing the act itself is “right.” I really see our society 100 years down the road shaking its head at how “in the dark ages” we were about proclaiming life starts at 20 weeks, and all the other nonsense the acclaimed scientific world states to be true. It’s how we look back at how backward society was when blacks weren’t considered people, how we thought the earth was flat, and all other unbelievable occurrences in the earth’s history. Abortion will be one of them.
