Indeed. It’s absurd. Exactly how many archbishops have been killed, or detained, by the Pope in the last 400 years?Yeah, this ‘forced into hiding’ thing needs to be called out.
I came across a book like that and I have to admit it was troubling. As was the attitude toward Benedict by some priests I met when I began my conversion, including one who dismissed anything he said and called him Ratzi the Nazi.Intentionally or not, it feeds into some of the crazier radical anti-Pope Francis people who think he is running a junta or is a “Dictator Pope.” I have read stories written by some who have accused him of imprisoning Pope Benedict XVI.
It truly is. I won’t post links, but there are some pretty scary “Catholic” websites out there.I came across a book like that and I have to admit it was troubling.
Also a serious problem. As Benedict XVI has pointed out repeatedly, the differences between him and Francis are of style, emphasis, and approach. Ideologically and theologically they are indistinguishable for anyone who isn’t an expert in the nuances of Catholic theology. As was the attitude toward Benedict by some priests I met when I began my conversion, including one who dismissed anything he said and called him Ratzi the Nazi.
Well maybe he could move in with Michael Voris.stpurl:
Vigano has nothing to fear and saying he has to be in hiding is laughable.I gave you a break by giving you the opportunity to clarify and correct your misapprehension.
Huh??? How about the German bishops. Look what they’re aiming for. That’s who the Pope should be silencing!!! I would suggest to you that what Archbishop Vigano says pales by comparison to what these German bishops are proposing. It would be nice if he could be silenced somehow by the Pope.
The apostasy taking place within the German Catholic Church is now the most concentrated expression of this severe-grace, for it is being engineered not only by many of the German hierarchy, but also, at points, seemingly countenanced by the present pontificate.
This thread is about Vigano and his ravings.I linked to a better source, Fr. Thomas Weinandy. He also is concerned about the German Church.
