I would like to know if it is wrong to attend a gay wedding ceremony? By doing so, is one saying “I support your lifestyle” even though one doesn’t.
There is a thread on this forum, and quite frank I do not know what the right thing to do is.
For instance, my brother is gay. He does not live in a state where gay marriage is allowed, but I think many will follow suit. (unfortunately) Would it be wrong for me to attend, even though I know it is not right?
I love my brother. He has been a great influence in my life growing up. He has helped me through many difficult times. I turned my back on him for some time, because he gay. We have reconciled since that time, and our relationship is very good.
Any pastoral guidance is appreciated. Thanks.
