As other’s have said, I think it depends entirely on what is meant by “alpha-male”. Here are some books that might help, I’ve read both and like them:

Be a Man!, By Fr. Larry Richards

Behold the Man, By Dcn. Harold Burke-Sivers

I have been told that I have to take on more alpha male traits in order for my life and my marriage to improve. My question here is, is taking on alpha male traits a Christian virtue? Or, is it something that takes on the form of fleshly behavior?
It’s a meaningless question unless you define your terms. Do you mean alpha in the sense of knuckle-dragging meat bag, or alpha in the sense of an independent-minded person who shuns the crowd and supports himself? One doesn’t always equate with the other.

Kind brother, can you explain to me what an alpha male really means and is please? Then, I would be gladlyfully able to answer your question.
