O.k. so i am gay (or I might be bisexual because I have liked girls but only a little), but i DON’T act on my desires and don’t have any kind of sex. Well I don’t exactly know if I was born with it or not. Now ever since I was a young child I masturbated, but didn’t know it was a sin. However, when I did find out I didn’t want to confess it, blah blah blah and it almost lead to complete blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, but I was able to free myself from my obsession with masturbation and confessed it. Now I just recently heard of blasphemy against the spirit and am going to confess that soon and all of my other sins too. I could have been born with it or the masturbation could have made it that way, but I never asked for it and just think that gay sex is wrong and disgusting. Now I’ve known I’ve been gay for a while and I keep hearing that it is a sin and its not a sin unless you act upon your desires (having gay sex), but I don’t know for sure, I’m going to ask a priest, but I would like to know soon. So my question is: would I have sin if I’m gay (or bisexual), but don’t have any type of sex (any more since of my stupid decisions in masturbating, but I’ve stopped) and also believe thats wrong??
Also I do plan to stay chaste and celibate and not marry at all.
