Is Biblical proof of purgatory lost in translation?

I just read in book (Maria Simma - Get Us Out of Here Page 72) that the correct translations from Aramaic to Greek of both Matthew 25:46 and John 5:29 are:

" … will rise to a disciplinary curative time of punishment."

Is that a correct translation from Aramaic to Greek?

If so, is it a correct translation of the outcome for the unrighteous or the righteous?
