Are those who kill workers in abortion clinics, bomb abortion clinics etc committing righteous acts?

Not at all. There is no difference in someone who does that than a common criminal.

I’m shocked that anyone would even ask a question like this…NO!!!

Thou shall not kill applies to us all

I didn’t ask it for some sick moral approval, I asked it because of all the rhetoric on this forum about going to war etc to protect the innocent. They then say that abortion is wrong because the unborn child is innocent.
I’m anti-abortion and anti-interventionism.

It is absolutely immoral under all circumstances.
No, it would epend on circumstances. Suppose the Obama administration were to decree that no family could have more than one child, that all others must be aborted. Then it is justified as a revolutionary act. as laid out in Jefferson’s preamble to the Declaration of Independence. Of course, we would at the extreme and under tyranny.

It is absolutely forbidden to kill an innocent for any reason – including revolution. It simply cannot ever be done.

Even so, there would have to be a better way than bombing someone’s office.
In the event you described I can understand the temptation to destroy the building, but
I still feel that it would wrong.

No! Murder is murder. The Bible is very clear on that.

Although I know the Abortion Clinics and the people who are working in them (along with any Woman, who would go there for an abortion.) are murdering a baby human, in no way would it be right to Kill these people. Gods law say thou shalt Not Murder.

I leave it in Gods hands to judge these people. (although of course I do what I can Within the Law, to stop this kind of thing from happening. Vote, write letters, make phone calls ect.)

I agree. But then why go to interventionist war? I often hear it said to me on this forum (when I mention my opposition to Iraq war) would I think WW2 was moral to stop innocent people form dying, if it meant murdering people.
I just see a double standard.

Well, you bring up an uncomfortable subject I think.
Few people on this site would defend bombing an abortion operation if there was loss of human life.(I think)
But, if only property was destroyed, how many Christian folks would feel sorrow in seeing an abortion clinic closed down? :shrug:Be honest.

There is the saying: all that is need for evil men to prevail is for good men to do nothing. And the prayer that includes: what I have done and what I have failed to do. Most of us have not done terribe things in our life times, but we have often failed to do what we ought.

The intention of the weather underground in the 60’s was to blow up buildings without killing anyone.

Define “innocent?” It certainly would not include tyrants. And mind you, there are good tyrants as well as bad, but the usurpation of authority is a violation of law and thus no tyrant is innocent of crime.

No, the intention of the Weathermen was the overthrow of the government. The question is: did they have just cause? Itwould absurd now to blow up abortion clinics when the country is open to policy changes that limit the harm they do. It would also be counter-productice: the public has been filled with nonsense about the fanatical nature of the pro-life movement. If only we were. If only we were as fanatical as the early Quakers, or even the abolitionists. If we were we would open thousands of medical clinics and other facilites for the care of unwed and pregnant women and steal them asway from the butchers. Unfortunately, the abortionists are supported by governments that would steal all the money we might use in the form of taxes.

Good to see the real question so soon! The original question seems like baiting.

When is war justified in your opinion? When is the use of deadly force justified to protect life and family?

If the answer is “never” then you have a valid answer according to “your” well form conscience, if your answer has any exceptions then you would struggle with the dilemma that most of us struggle with. Because the population of the world is made up of mere human beings, war has been a necessity of life to maintain and protect life. If all human being were perfect then there would be no need for war. To bad humans aren’t perfect…

Was it their intention to save lives by their actions? I don’t remember all the details but I thought they were more interested in revolution.

NO.

…and as to your signature:

Shame on you! you who make unjust laws and publish burdensome decrees, depriving the poor of justice, robbing the weakest of my people of their rights, despoiling the widow and plundering the orphan.” -Isaiah 10:1-2

…wouldn’t the part of your signature that I bolded above apply to a baby in the womb?

Afterall, it was the Supreme Court, who in 1973, just a handful of people, who made abortion law.

It say this, in part, in Isaiah also: Chapter 2:1
Thus says the LORD who made you, your help, who formed you from the womb:…

Was it not in protest at the Vietnam war, and that their state was wiling to kill people in another country? (I would be wrong lol that’s why I’m asking, I don’t presume to know more about your history than you guys :o)

Sorry but what does this have in relation to my original post?
I am in NO WAY pro killing abortionists. But I made the question because I am being told on this forum that interventionist war is totally moral BECAUSE it is killing to save the innocent. I disagree with this.
If one believes it is ok to kill to save the innocent, and one believes the unborn child to be innocent and the abortionist a killer…
understand?
