It’s getting to a point where I can’t even trust news sites with the word ‘Catholic’ in its name.

I cam across this article, what do you guys think? It’s from 2006, but the issue is still prevalent.

catholic.org/international/international_story.php?id=19561
To the sites credit, this is an article reprinted from another website. While it’s views may not necessarily represent Catholic Online (the parent link), it’s strange that it would print an article that clearly goes outside the Catholic teachings on condoms and abstinence without some commentary before or after it. The article is subjective and ignores the morality of casual sex while trying to argue for condoms as a greater good.

To the discerning reader, Catholic Online may have some useful articles, but this reprint can confuse many. Another reason to stick around Catholic.com.

As the previous poster had said, that is not written by Catholic Online’s writers or guest writers.

Most of the time, I find very useful articles for my spiritual growth. It also has the daily readings and saints of the day features. Explore it and you’ll find abundance of information on the website!
