So, is the Catholic Church growing? It is declining in the western world, unfortunately. But will it stay relevant? Will it keep a large membership? Does anyone have any information on this?

The Catholic church is falling in the west due to the priests not performing their Holy duties and it is on the rise some what in the east like Africa and China. if you want to know some specifics of prophecy perhaps youtube some Prophecies of Our Lady, where it is stated the Church will nearly fall but when the next tribulation is over the whole world will be One united in the Holy Catholic Faith.

Africa and Asia are the future of the Church. Growing like wildfire in some areas. The west is materially rich, but spiritually poor. The rest of the world is materially poor, but spiritually rich.

I think the word “growing” is espoused in this way, in the topic and discussion. Though it’s just a pondering guess. In this way, is the Church “increasing.” Like in large numbers. Thus, the word “growing” may not really be the right term for what is likely meant from the topic presented.

The Church can grow in one way. But as Christ said. He also prunes branches. If it grows more roots, but the branches are pruned. Then, you can say She is growing. But, She is not increasing. Thus, I don’t think the word “growing” articulated what you really meant.

The Church grows in holiness. And that increases. Hence, in that way She increases. It’s quality over quantity. She holds the ember of Truth. No other belief holds this.

According to this source, it continues to grow, and at a rate slightly faster than that of world population. It is expected to continue growing.
