Is Catholicism pagan?

I am in current discussion with someone about faith, and the church. She says that she has proof that the catholic faith is pagan, and that the catholic church switched the “sabbath” day to sunday, and brag about it. There are other issues as well, but how do I answer these charges? What “proof” is there that she’s wrong? Or IS she wrong? I thought I had found the truth. But discussions like this are quite bothersome. Where can I go to get other answers? Thanks.
