Clapping has been recurring these last couple of weeks at Mass.
I really have two questions: Is it proper to play America the Beautiful during Holy Communion? Father had not placed the Blessed Sacrament back into the Tabernacle as A the B was being played. It was a beautiful rendition played by a single person on the bells. In spite of its beauty, I did not think it appropriate.

Second: At its conclusion, Father was then seated and watching the performance, someone in the congregation began to clap and many followed.
I was then confused - was this considered a Communion song! And clapping???
