I am 19 years old… I was raised Pentecostal and have been dwindling along the sidelines of not wanting to choose any church… But I feel that God is not bringing friends who are Catholic into my life for no reason at all. As I learn more about Catholicism, the mindsets and myths are beginning to break as I am realizing that Catholicism is scripture-based and traces back to being the first Chruch that Jesus set Peter as being the first pope, or father, of and I’m amazed! I am planning on attending Mass with a few friends and am excited, yet nervous.
Is there any advice, other than seek out a parish and RCIA class, that can help me realize whether or not this is the right choice? I’ve been praying and even praying the rosary… (Which I wonder, is it wrong for a non-Catholic to pray the rosary?)
Thanks for all the answers and help ahead of time!
In Christ,
Brian
