Is Costco or Sam's Club worth it for a family of only 3?

After reading this thread, I would avoid giving Costco my business if I didn’t already have a membership.
 
We have belonged to both at times…I would highly recommend Costco’s produce…their fruit is excellent…we buy oranges there by the box…and we buy diapers and formula there

Sam’s is great for tires…and we are switching over to the Sams Club member’s mark formula.

I have to say that I prefer Costco, but Sam’s Club is the Republican store and Costco the democrat store…as far as where the corporate donations go
